A new study was completed by T- Mobile. They found that one in five individuals believes that mobile broadband needs to have a farther reach. They want to be able to access the internet while they are at the beach or sitting in a pub. About half of the individuals who were surveyed stated they want to have the mobile broadband wherever they go. Taking this survey into account the mobile broadband network may just change.
50 percent of the individuals in the survey stated that they spend less than half an hour outside during the day because they are on the internet connection in doors. 37 percent said they would enjoy being able to work out side or play on the computer outside. With mobile broadband they could be released from their desks.
The increase in demand for mobile broadband is one of the reasons there have been a lot of changes lately in the broadband area. T- Mobile is not the only one working on getting mobile broadband to anywhere in the UK that consumers want to go. For now it is still a challenge to get the remote spots, but pubs could be next on the list of mobile broadband stops.
There is not a tipping point that has been reached regarding the mobile broadband market. These individuals realise how handy it is to use the internet anywhere. They can be in their gardens with laptops or in town near a shopping centre. It is only natural that the beach be something these individuals want to have for their internet access.
Mobile broadband could potentially be available near the beach in the next year. It will depend on the stores in the area and whether the mobile market will put up towers to reach the connection. For the most part sitting on the beach with a laptop is regulated to certain places and whether the businesses are allowing access to their broadband connection.
With the changes occurring the mobile broadband market could be almost free in the next year. There are steps to make the mobile broadband less expensive and competition could wipe out the charges all together making it easier for free access almost anywhere in the world. We are a society that wants to see convenience of our products work for us. While the beach may not be as important as just getting outside there are definite perks to the whole option.
It will be up to the mobile broadband providers to see how far things will go in the next year, but the more demand there is for the beach, pubs, or just working outside in the garden, the more chance there is that the access will be granted. By satisfying consumers the mobile broadband gets more revenue from the ever growing market. It is for now a win- win situation. The cost of having mobile broadband is coming down even for the devices needed to gain the access to the internet.
