He lives with his girlfriend, and both of them are familiar with mobile broadband and take full advantage of its features on a daily basis, but even though his girlfriend is so well versed in the capabilities of mobile broadband, he still manages to fool her often.

They are both quite competitive people really, and you can often find them sitting around discussing this and that, and arguing about who is right and wrong.  My son has a method of finding information out and telling his girlfriend what’s right and wrong; and this is directly as a result of his wireless internet connection.  They have a PC in their bedroom upstairs and when they are home this is the hub of their world.  Whenever they need something they use this PC.  However, my son uses his laptop in the kitchen to catch out his girlfriend, and can you believe it works?

He still can’t explain why she hasn’t found out that whenever they are arguing about the answer to a question he goes to the kitchen to “make the tea” and comes back with a load of fresh knowledge.  She also argues with him about what jazz he has in his collection, and thanks to me telling him about my dowload sites, he can use his wireless connection to download songs, she says he hasn’t got, in seconds from the comfort of his kitchen!

This is the beauty of being a wireless internet connection.  Mobile broadband allows me to be secretive about what i’m doing online.  There was a time when i had to stop what i was doing online when my wife walked into our bedroom.  Now i can just take my laptop out the room with me, and if my wife follows me, it’s her that ends up looking sinister and underhand by spying on me!  Thank you mobile broadband; you’re a life saver.  Mostly i am left in peace to download loads of obscure jazz track that will torture my wife at a later date; she still doesn’t know where i get them.

Anyway, back to the music downloads.  I can download loads with my mobile broadband connection because it provides me with the same speed i get from my desktop PC connection.  I’m quite lucky because i live in an area where i can use the best wireless internet packages and benefit from teh maximum speeds that they boast.  If you want to take advantage of mobile broadband, first make sure you can recieve the speed you’re hoping to get, otherwise you could end up with a lot of disappointment.

Wireless broadband is giving me new options everytime i go out.  Lately i’ve been downloading tunes that pop into my head.  You know those moments your trying to remember a song when you’re on the train, and then yes!  You suddenly get it, only to forget by the time you get home.  Well now you can just download it with your mobile broadband connection from the comfort of your second class national express seat; you’ve got to get something out of your journey haven’t you?

This morning i used my mobile broadband connection while i was walking my dog.  I downloaded a lovely song that i had in my head.  All i had to do was stand and wait for my dog to finish his business, and by the time he’d done it i had used my wireless internet connection to download Mambo Italiano by Rosemary Connelly.  Who’d have thought when i was at school in the 1970s that we would be able to download music in a matter of seconds while we were walking the dog.  Mobile broadband has brough freedom to the planet.  Does that sound a little too dramatic?
