There is one thing that should out rank any other in terms of importance when you are choosing which mobile broadband provider to go with, and that is the signal coverage. If you can’t get any coverage where you are then there is little point in buying the product is there?

Now, most of the reputable mobile broadband sellers have a service on their website that will allow you to enter your postcode to see if your area is covered by their mobile broadband network. This is an excellent, simple service and you should not neglect using it. You can save yourself hours of time trawling through the best offers, and reading all the information you need about whatever mobile broadband package you think you need.

However, although these mobile broadband checkers can tell you if you are covered in the area in which you intend to use your mobile broadband device and connection, they will not be able to forsee other environmental factors and many others besides that can also effect the signal strength (thus effecting the speed) of your mobile broadband. This can be something as simple as your distance from the closest telephone exchange, or the fact that you may live in a valley in the countryside; there are many things to consider.
