How Fast is your Mobile Broadband
November 26th, 2009This is one of the greatest pitfalls of buying Mobile broadband. Just be careful which contract you go into. If you need mobile broadband, but you’re not sure, then just get some pay as you go mobile broadband. At least if you do this then you can have a chance to get out of a bad deal if you need to…
The thing to be most careful about when you buy a mobile broadband package is to check the network coverage in your area. There are loads of wireless internet users who pay for a mobile broadband connection with fantastic wireless broadband speeds that they just aren’t getting. This is because the network isn’t strong enough where they live or other reasons i don’t know about. What i do know is that if i buy an £800 suit from the best tailors on Saville Row in London, then i expect to be able to wear the jacket with both it’s arms. I’d look a bit foolish walking down the street in a tailored jacket with one arm.
My point is (and i knew i had one) don’t get hung up on speeds when you compare mobile broadband offers and packages. What you need to concentrate on is finding out if you get a good network coverage where you will be using your device. Some wireless broadband companies will not care too much whether or not you get the speeds they advertise, but some will. You have to shop around and compare mobile broadband packages before you sign anything!
